What I Wore Wednesday

This week I have felt a little more inspired to get out of those pj's than normal. We did a couple fun things as a family, including going down to Albuquerque for the New Mexico Chocolate and Coffee Fest. It was great fun but poor little Gypsy ate so much chocolate that she ended up being sick all over the place and we had to go home. I guess that is the downside to not giving your kids a lot of sugar, they just can't handle it. There were a couple really outstanding artisans at the festival that really inspired me. I want to become more excellent in the work I do with chocolate and my mind is hungry to try and recreate the jasmine truffles we bought!

I think the kids are happy that it is warming up here. I am one of those types who would just hibernate in my little home all year round if I could, and now that the weather is warming up I am kind of pushed into getting out and seeing other people.

Anyway, here is my favorite outfit from this week. This necklace is an absolute fave, I got it at a small boutique down in Santa Fe but can't remember who makes it.

Every time I ask Chris to shoot pictures for wiww Gyp tries to jump in the shots, and with her little Gap dress, topknot and vintage dress-up gloves how could I resist? She's my buddy and really just too cute..

Very nice outfit and a necklace that definitely puts the cherry on the whole outfit! What I love with this outfit is the spring feel to it. You can also wear sandals of summer for a more laid back feel to it.

Gypsy looks super cute in those Uggs. Elsie has a dress that is sooooo similar (may even be the same) for a store called Pumpkin Patch (do you have that in US?)
